I can say I'm delighted with this game.
Although I have owned a PC since 1999, and therefore had the opportunity to familiarize myself with this game back then, this did not happen. Moreover, I remember myself at that age, I would not have mastered this game, I lacked perseverance and horror elements, I would have been scared away in every sense)
But time passed and stealth games and immersive sims became one of my favorite genres. And then somehow on YouTube I came across a review of the classic “Thieves” and decided to try it...
Well, the game is great, yes the graphics are old, and the angular models and animation, but all this pales in comparison to the gameplay. Variability at a high level, different arrows and gadgets, make it possible to experiment.
In general, my long introduction was that sometimes you played a game about 20 years ago and you liked it then, and years later you don’t want to notice its shortcomings, although modern players simply cannot play it. I played the same game just now, i.e. I didn’t have warm feelings for it from childhood, I was absolutely impartial, and I had already played many modern games and yet the game suited me 100%
