Tomb Raider

the game is simply wonderful! I just feel sorry for some of the characters (such as Alex 😢)

Graphics: The graphics are just super! (the plot is more important than the graphics, remember this, and if you are a “graphic wanker”: forget these words)

Plot: pretty good

Requirements: I could even run it on my grandmother’s PC! (at least on minimal settings, but I could. Her PC is from 2005-2006! think about this)

The reboot of the series is amazing and I'm in awe as I watch an unprepared Lara struggle with the challenges that literally fall on her head. There is only one desire in my head and heart - to help the poor girl overcome difficulties. It is already obvious that this is the best Tomb Raider since the fifth part. Of course, it was not without its drawbacks: Batman: Arkham City belongs to the type of game that I am ready to give 10 points with a pure soul, but Tomb Raider clearly falls into a lower category. I'll explain the reason when I get to the end, because it's still a little early to talk about the game in an informed manner.

The game is mostly beautiful. Even in 2020, it doesn’t look bad, the plot is not complicated, but intriguing, the riddles are not boring, the design of the locations can be called well-designed and not boring.

The only thing that infuriates me is the popular interactive cutscenes at that time (among game designers. Personally, I always hated them.)

The reboot turned out to be very large-scale. All that remains of the classic concept is the name and, at times, locations. Everything else was comprehended, thought out and rewritten.

We are sent back to the origins of the formation of a favorite image, at the moment of the beginning of the first adventure. An innocent girl, a shipwreck, the first promenades along steep cliffs and ill-wishers with automatic weapons.

This is the first game in years that I've had a lot of fun with. During the passage, I was completely immersed in this game world and savored every minute, solving mysteries and looking at the picturesque beauties of the island). All I wanted was for this game to never end.

How can we not say about the main character of the game - Lara Croft. It’s simply impossible not to worry about this sweet and fragile girl. After all, she found herself in such a wild situation being completely inexperienced. However, she did not give up and continued to fight not only for her life, but also for the lives of her friends.
