Introduced to me as "GTA in Mexico", Total Overdose turned out to be a very distinctive game. Yes, there are similarities with “The Great Auto Thief”, but only superficial. The cartoonish graphics don’t discourage the desire to play one bit, especially when you realize HOW hair-raising the action is in your hands. Don't let the change of heroes at the very beginning be alarming - the mechanics and gameplay are the same. And very soon we get control of a permanent protagonist - a charismatic and reckless young guy who fits very harmoniously into all the vicissitudes of the Mexican city on the border with the United States. And yes - with cacti, sombreros, tequila and “Day of the Dead”! The plot may not be the strongest component of the game, but you can follow the events, and there is more… Read full
Представленная мне как «GTA в Мексике», Total Overdose оказалась очень самобытной игрой. Да, схожесть с «Великим автовором» есть, но лишь поверхностная. Мультяшная графика ни капли не отбивает желание играть, тем более, когда осознаешь, НАСКОЛЬКО зубодробительный экшен в руках. Пусть смена героев в самом начале не настораживает — механика и игровой процесс одинаков. И очень скоро под управление получаем постоянного протагониста — харизматичного и безбашенного молодого парня, который очень гармонично вписывается во все перипетии мексиканского города на границе с США. И да — с кактусами, сомбреро, текилой и «Днём Мёртвых»! Сюжет, может, и не сильнейший компонент игры, но за событиями следишь, а юмора здесь хоть отбавляй. И где ещё можно исполнять трюк «Ураган с УЗИ» и использовать контрабас… Read full
A challenging shooter, similar to Max Payne, but with a greater degree of madness. It was just a little vaguely reminiscent of Miami hotlines. Again, like in many GTA clones, there is nothing special to do in the game in free play, it’s worth going through just for the challenging tracks and reprisals against NPCs , a lot of banter on Mexican topics. Again, the plot is good, but after completing the game there is nothing to do.
Заборитсый шутер,похожий на макс пейна,но градус безумия больше.как раз немного отдаленно напоминал горячие линии Майями.Опять же как и во многих клонах гта в игре в свободной игре особо делать и нечего,стоит пройти только ради забористых треков и расправ над нпс,много стеба на мексиканские темы.Опять же сюжет хороший,но после прохождения в игре делать нечего.
