This game is one of the few games about the FIRST WORLD WAR in general, and among shooters, it’s probably the only one. In short, this is a Battlefield in the setting of the First World War. Of course, there are no vehicles here (maybe someday they will be added), there are only 3 modes, but they are quite enough (front line, battle to the death, battle attrition), but the sizes of the maps are quite large, somewhere on the level of Battlefield.
-Advanced:
There are two sides, one is the Entente, the other is the Triple Alliance, both sides are divided into detachments, each of which has its own commander, who gives orders where to attack, where to defend, where to strike with mortar fire or where to “dump” the poisonous gas (“mustard gas”, I think); and there is a front line, which during the session can shift in one direction or the other.
-Deathmatch:
This is a “every man for himself” mode, you choose equipment from the available ones and go into battle, there’s not much to say here.
-Attrition battle:
Almost the same, only a team battle.
Pros of the game:
+ Good graphics
+ The atmosphere of the 1st World War (of course, none of us (gamers) were there, but still, there is a feeling as if you were really at war)
+ Good soundtrack (I especially liked the songs from those years that are played in the main menu)
+ The price is quite affordable
Cons of the game:
- Lack of a single player campaign (although, in principle, it’s not very and needed)
- There is no full tutorial (it is given at first in the form of a “slide presentation” with the main aspects of the game)
- Small online (the largest number of players is somewhere around 21-22 Moscow time)
- Not enough modes
- A high barrier to entry into the game, that is, a long process of mastering the game mechanics, which can alienate beginners, which is unacceptable.
Overall the game is good, worth the money, but the developers still have some work to do. Result - 7.5 out of 10
