1: HOW DID I GET TO KNOW THE GAME?
I used to play potato (World of tanks), but after leveling up to the next top, I realized that it is practically no different from the others. Yes, there are some mechanics, such as hydraulic suspension, turbine, drum, loading mechanism, two driving modes and.... Ah.. but that's all. These are all more or less significant mechanics that are in wot. I started looking for a way out of this one-sided gameplay. And then I decided to try out the most important competitor, which I initially screwed up - War Thunder.
2: "Sorties"
I tried to start playing the game a couple of times, but it was too difficult. There are so many mechanics that after 5 years of playing potato it seemed like Everest compared to a hill. However, for some reason I took it from a negative side, and threw it, returned to the potato, and started playing again, and threw it again...
3: THE CONVERSION THAT CHANGED MY FAVORITE
Too easy here, too easy there It’s difficult, so what to do?! One of the main advantages of WT is the graphics, which my laptop couldn’t handle. My parents bought me a more powerful computer. At the same time, I decided to set myself a goal in War Thunder, to at least get to Isa-1, because... The most I've ever reached was the KV-1. So I decided to do a deep study of the game with a new computer :)
4: STARS THROUGH THE THORNY PATH
There were too many mechanics.. They were all complicated... For a detailed explanation, please contact the official. There were no channels, I had to take help from YouTube. It got to the point where I had to watch a video on “how to SHOOT MISSILES ON A PLANE”! But the goal was set. Having mastered the basic mechanics of the game, I moved on. And then, I started to really enjoy the game! I swear, this is the only game I've played where the barrier to entry was so high that it turned me and thousands of other players away at the beginning.
5: WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THIS DAY
But unlike them, I decided to return and did not regret it. When I said there were too many mechanics, I wasn't kidding. The free buttons on the keyboard gradually ran out, as did the keyboard shortcuts... And so, I reached this point. This is the only game I'm still learning. Recently, for example, I understood how radars work. But I will study further, and if I am stuck in potatoes for 5 years, in such monotony, then, logically, I will spend several decades in WT :), until I exhaust all its possibilities.
6: CLARIFICATIONS
I consider it an important duty to tell this story to you so that you are not afraid of such diversity as I once was. Many people say that the game is heavily dependent on donations. But looking at wot, I’ll say that donation doesn’t solve the problem here. Games are made to be fun, and this game delivers on that. And if you like to play it, then you can calmly level up without exhausting yourself. Although I plan to buy myself several million credits in the near future to make leveling up more comfortable, you don’t have to follow my example (I judge this by myself, not by a pro, but by an ordinary player).
I give this game 5 stars, even though it doesn't live up to them. You can find bugs, shortcomings, and shortcomings in it at any time, but without playing it, you will never be able to find advantages in it. I give this game 5 stars simply because you should play it if you like this type of theme. It’s up to you to decide what rating to give it. Don't look at other users' one star ratings because everyone is different. Some people don't like the game, others like it, and you should play it yourself to find out which category you belong to.
