The third WarCraft appeared to me under strange circumstances. In those years, we all bought pirated discs on the market (10, 20, 40 games on one disc). There I saw one disk, it was very different from the others. It was square and in plastic packaging, although all the other “pirates” were in paper rectangles. The price was similar, and from the cover there was a massive, evil, green-skinned creature looking at me. During the purchase, the seller Ravshan gave me another disk along with this one; it already depicted a long-haired blond man with stubble. So for 200 rubles I got two licensed discs with WarCraft III.

Во сне ко мне явился не то человек, не то птица
Третий WarCraft появился у меня при странных обстоятельствах. В те годы мы все покупали пиратские диски на рынке (по 10, 20, 40 игр на одной болванке). Там я увидел один диск, он очень отличался от других. Он был квадратный и в пластиковой упаковке, хотя все остальные "пиратки" были в бумажных прямоуголках. Цена была схожая, а с обложки на меня смотрело массивное, злое, зеленокожее существо. Во время покупки продавец Равшан отдал мне вместе с этим диском другой, на нем был уже изображен длинноволосый блондин с щетиной. Так у меня за 200 рублей появилось два лицензионных диска с WarCraft III.
И как же я благодарен Равшану! WarCraft открыл для меня мир стратегий, с превосходным сюжетом. Это икона жанра, пример для всех разработчиков. … Read full
