In Star Wars Outlaws, some of the finished content will be exclusive to the season pass
Some of the ready-made Star Wars Outlaws content from Ubisoft can only be obtained by pre-ordering the Gold Edition for $109 or the Ultimate Edition for $129. So, owners of the base game will be left without a mission with Jabba the Hutt.
As indicated on the official website of the project, the quest «Jabba's Gambit» will become an «exclusive» of the Season Pass:
As noted below, the Season Pass will only be available for pre-purchasing the Gold and Ultimate Editions or for a Ubisoft+ Premium subscription.
Typically, a season pass means players can pay up front for future game DLC or content that comes later. However, in the case of Star Wars Outlaws, for some reason a mission was added to the Season Pass, which will be available immediately on the day of release, which means it is already ready for the basic version of the game for $70. But owners of the standard edition will not receive it.
Let us remind you that earlier information appeared that Star Wars Outlaws will not have the most recognizable mechanics of Ubisoft — capturing towers.
