Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will not get story DLC, PC version will require PSN
Following the announcement of the PC version of Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Insomniac Games has officially announced that the game will not be receiving any story DLC. Additionally, the game will not be available in a number of countries due to the PlayStation Network.
As a reminder, a major data leak has revealed the studio's plans for story DLC for the game. The project could have acquired three add-ons with new enemies and content — Beetle Infestation, Extreme Carnage and Spider-Verse Anomaly. The last expansion was supposed to connect the game and the trilogy of cartoons about Miles Morales from Sony Pictures.
The reason why Insomniac Games refused story DLC is not disclosed.
In addition, the PC version of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will require linking a Steam account to the PlayStation Network service. Since PSN does not work in all countries, the project will not be sold in these regions.
