Denuvo protection removed from space strategy Homeworld 3
SteamDB users have noticed that another PC game with Denuvo has been left without anti-piracy protection. Blackbird Interactive studio has quietly removed it from the space strategy Homeworld 3.
The game was released in May of this year and became one of the most anticipated projects of the month on Steam. Unfortunately, Homeworld 3 did not live up to the expectations of fans, receiving a rating of 38% based on 4.6 thousand reviews. Many gamers did not like the plot, gameplay and new style, as well as mediocre optimization on the Unreal Engine. Judging by the latest reviews on Steam, Blackbird Interactive studio is still improving the technical condition and gameplay, having listened to the reviews.
Homeworld 3 became a continuation of the popular space strategy series. In the new part, in addition to the already familiar mechanics, they added the study of abandoned giant ships of ancient civilizations, a new cooperative mode and mod support.
Previously, Denuvo developers discussed the reputation of their protection and explained how it affects gaming performance.
