Crowbar Collective, the studio known for Black Mesa (the Half-Life remake), has announced a new game titled Rogue Point. This is also a first-person shooter, but it places a strong emphasis on co-op play (though a single-player mode is also available).
In the debut trailer, the developers showcased some gameplay footage.
The game is set in a world where corporations engage in fierce warfare using mercenaries. However, a squad of justice fighters stands against them, tasked with carrying out complex tactical missions in large-scale locations such as an Airport, Shopping Mall, Office, and Oil Rig.
Rogue Point features roguelite elements and AI classes (Soldier, Berserker, Sniper, Tank, and Five-Star). Additionally, the developers promise a high degree of replayability thanks to a randomization system, 22 types of weapons, 25 additional accessories, 55 cosmetic items, 11 tactical devices, and hardcore challenges.
«Immerse yourself in the heat of battle in a campaign where dynamic tactical combat intersects with deep strategic planning», — the description reads.
Rogue Point will enter early access in 2025. There is already a page for the game on Steam. Team17 is the publisher.
