Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 tested on different GPUs: NVIDIA RTX 4090 runs at 70 FPS at 4K/Ultra
After the embargo on preliminary reviews of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 was lifted, not only the first impressions but also the results of graphics tests appeared online. GameGPU portal experts tested the build on dozens of video cards and shared the results.
As the testing revealed, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 demonstrates an average of 70 FPS at a resolution of 4K and with graphics settings on Ultra. The minimum frequency was 58 FPS. The GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER showed itself slightly worse, delivering 60 FPS on average under the same conditions. In addition, the experts compared the level of video memory consumption and graphics quality at minimum and maximum settings with and without DLSS — you can see the result here.
However, the developers of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 have provided another Experimental item, which is clearly intended for future video cards. Even the GeForce RTX 4090 performed poorly here, delivering only 50 FPS in 4K resolution.
Since the build is preliminary, the developers can improve the optimization by the time of release. In addition, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will not have a built-in performance testing tool.
The release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is scheduled for February 4 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Recall that yesterday the first reviews of the game from various publications appeared. In addition, the VGS portal published a whole hour of gameplay of the medieval RPG.
