New Open-World Survival Game Launches on Steam, Set Light Years Away from Earth
Developers from SOLIDS Studio have released a sci-fi open-world survival game on Steam titled The Dark Side of Ceclon, reminiscent of Ridley Scott's film The Martian.
The protagonist is Jensen, the sole survivor of the Nexentia shuttle disaster. He finds himself alone on the mysterious planet Ceclon, located several light years away from any human life.
"Alone in this arid desert, you must survive, uncover what happened, and leave the planet CECLON, bringing the precious Veka energy back to Earth. Will you fail your mission or become humanity's savior?" — reads the description.
Throughout the game, players will explore the open world, craft various devices and objects to harness energy, and battle alien creatures inhabiting the planet. Key features include a day-night cycle, bosses, a wide range of items, and RPG elements.
The Dark Side of Ceclon is available on Steam for $14.99. A demo version is also available.
