Classic Doom 1 and 2 Get Weapons and Gameplay from Doom: The Dark Ages Thanks to Mod

Now you can play Doom: The Dark Ages before the release, but there is a nuance: this is a mod for Doom 1 and 2. A fan has released a large-scale modification that recreates the gameplay from the new part about the Doom Slayer.

The DOOM Darkfall mod adds weapons, equipment, indicators, soundtracks, new finishing animations, a flail and other mechanics and elements that could be seen in the Doom: The Dark Ages trailer. While the project is in the finalization stage, so no one is immune from errors and visual bugs.

You can download the current version of DOOM Darkfall at this link. To install the mod, you need to copy the files to the game folder. Compatibility with the extended version of GZDoom is also provided.

As for Doom: The Dark Ages, the game will be released on May 15 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S. System requirements for the PC version have already appeared.
