Obsidian Entertainment has released a major Patch 1.3 for Avowed, bringing many changes to the gameplay and fixing a large number of bugs. The studio also listened to the players and increased the number of points for character leveling.

Now at levels 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30, you can get an additional talent point for upgrading and choosing abilities. Many players asked for this improvement, since the original leveling system limited the creation of builds. Characters at the maximum level will also receive several points.

Other important details of Patch 1.3:

  • fixed major crashes affecting crashes and saves;
  • fixed problems in various quests and conversations with NPCs;
  • improved the combat system and enemy behavior;
  • the problem with getting stuck and falling behind textures in various locations has been solved;
  • the user interface and animations have been improved;
  • minor fixes related to visual effects have been made.

The full list can be found on the official Obsidian forum. As a reminder, Avowed was released on PC and Xbox Series X/S on February 14, receiving good reviews from players and critics. We expressed our opinion about the controversial RPG from Obsidian in this article.
