Origami birds in Honkai: Star Rail are common inhabitants of Penaconia. These funny little birds can be called the symbols of the dream planet, as they actively participate in creating new dream-districts. However, some of the birds fly too far from their nests. The Trailblazer's task is to find all the birds and receive valuable rewards. In this guide, we will tell you how to find all the origami birds and what they are needed for.
There are a total of 20 birds hidden in the new location. Most of them are located in the main plane of the educational institution, and one can be found in the rector's office. Next, we will tell you in detail how to find all the creatures and return them to the nest.
Teleport to the Colored Dreams Highway (the lowest point) and run forward along the street. Stay on the right side and carefully look at the advertising banners. Near the counter behind the owl portrait, there will be an unremarkable dark blue stand with two pink feathers growing from it. Pull them and talk to the bird, after which it will head to the nest.
Continue forward along the street. When you reach the fork at the bird statue, turn left and go forward to the turns. One of them will lead to the same statue, and the other deeper into the academy. Near them will be two pointer arrows: orange and purple-pink. Go to the second one, which will be near the steps, and you will see a bunch of feathers. Interact with them and talk to the bird.
From the previous bird, turn left, deeper into the academy, and go forward until you reach the end. The landmark will be the boss Stone's balloon. Look up and you will see a portrait. Another bird is hidden in it, which can be identified by the protruding blue crest. Pull it and talk to the love-struck creature.
From the love-struck bird, turn right and run to the spatial anchor, but stop before reaching it at the school chalkboard on the left side of the corridor. In the corner of the board, there will be a bright green crest of the next origami bird sticking out. Talk to it and send it to the nest.
Go further to the next fork near the spatial anchor and turn left to the creative fair. Stay on the left side, near the water fountain. Above it, there will be a balloon with a bird. To get it, shoot it with any character with ranged attacks (March 7th, Topaz, Bronya). Talk to the chick and then continue your search.
Return to the teleport at the creative fair and immediately near it, you will notice several advertising stands. The closest one to the anchor will depict Professor Owl. The origami bird is hidden in this banner, right near the owl's finger. Pull the blue feather crest, talk to the creature, and it will head to its nest.
From the teleport, run forward along the corridor towards the classroom behind the blue door. On the left side of the passage, there will be a mannequin next to two spotlights. At the mannequin's shoulder, you will see the pink crest of the next bird. Pull out the lazy chick and send it to the nest.
Enter the classroom behind the blue door, which is near origami bird #7, and run to the teacher's counter in front of the board. Pay special attention to the flower pot. Another bird is hiding in it. Pull its green feather crest, talk to it, and send it to its nest.
Exit the classroom into the corridor and turn left at the fork. Head towards the central location with the large origami bird statue, but do not go down the stairs. Standing on the top step, look up and you will see a floating balloon with a crest on its head. The bird is sitting in it. Hit it with a ranged attack and talk to the chick.
Continue towards the stage, keeping to the left edge of the location. Move towards the path opposite, but then sharply turn left. Behind the monitor cubes, inside the smoke machine, a red bird will be hiding. Talk to it and continue searching for the other chicks.
From the previous bird, go to the DJ booth opposite, which will be slightly to the right of the stage. You can identify it by the abundance of equipment and three banners behind it. The next bird is hidden in a quirky device with three spotlights on top. Pull the tuft of green feathers, talk to the DJ bird, and send it to the nest.
Go up the steps to the right of the previous bird and enter the corridor. Then immediately turn right and look up. This bird is not easy to spot because it is hidden in a silver sign near the ceiling. First inspect the sign, then pull the tuft of green feathers. Talk to the bird and continue your search.
Go a little further and enter the blue door, running to the top row of seats. Go to the wall and pull the origami bird by its red crest. Chat with it a bit, and it will head to its nest.
Exit the classroom and run forward to the spatial anchor. Before reaching the teleport, look up. Under the ceiling, there will be a garland with colorful flags, next to which a tuft of pale pink feathers sticks out. Pull it, listen to the complaints of the colorful bird, and it will head to its nest.
From the previous chick, turn right into the Culture Corridor and approach the first stand on the left edge (an NPC named Chad will be standing next to it). At first, it may seem that there is no bird there, but if you change the camera angle and look at the table, you will see a tuft of feathers near one of the coins. Pull it several times and talk to the financial bird, and it will head off.
Return to the spatial anchor near the Culture Corridor and go a little forward from it down the corridor. Pay attention to the gift box floating on balloons, as a tuft of green feathers will be sticking out of it. Pull it twice, listen to the birthday greeting, after which the chick will fly away.
Run forward down the corridor. At the first fork, turn into the courtyard on the left. Without going outside, turn left again and you will see a tower of monitors with pointers. On the very top screen, a tuft of red feathers will be displayed. Pull it and talk to the guide bird, then continue searching for the remaining two chicks.
Along the same alley, head towards the statue of Glaux the owl and the spatial anchor. Go to the pile of brown columns near the pool. This bird is very well camouflaged, so it will be difficult to find it at first. Pay attention to the corner of the pool. In the water near the edge, a tuft of blue feathers sticks out. Pull the lazy bird out and send it to dry its wings.
The penultimate bird is in the rector's office. From the location of the previous chick, go up the steps and enter the location. You can find the origami by the tuft sticking out of a device that resembles a globe.
Exiting the rector's office, you will find yourself directly at Professor Owl's nest near the owl statue. The last tricky chick is hiding right on the head of the paper professor. Pull the azure feathers three times and talk to the silly bird.
After finding all 20 origami birds, teleport to the Glaux statue and head to Professor Owl. The nest will be marked on the map. Talk to the owl and receive rewards:
