Fields of Mistria is a cozy game where users can immerse themselves in the meditative creation and development of their farm. But it’s not only about growing crops and caring for animals. Gamers are in for exciting adventures in dangerous dungeons where they can find rare artifacts capable of opening new horizons for exploring ancient ruins. In this guide, we will reveal the secret of finding a rare artifact that will unlock access to new levels and opportunities, making the adventure even more fascinating.
Almost at the very beginning of the game, you will receive an invitation to the museum from the mailbox.
Head to the location The Narrows and talk to the character Errol about the mines. You will learn that due to a collapse, mining has ceased, and now the tunnels are abandoned. Errol will agree to open them if the town becomes more renowned.
The mines will open only after reaching the tenth level of settlement development, when it achieves the status Town Rank: Stone. To increase the town's level, complete main and side quests, as well as bring exhibits to the museum.
You can increase the town's rank by selling items in the Shipping Bin chest. Almost anything can be sold, but the greatest benefit will come from artifacts and crafting items: food, furniture, weapons, armor, and so on. The selling chest can be crafted by yourself or purchased in the town shop. One chest will be available to the player at the beginning of the game to the left of the house porch.
When the town reaches the required level of development, a letter from the museum curator will arrive, requesting a meeting at the mines in The Narrows location. There, the player will meet Errol and Eiland, who will open the gates to the abandoned dungeons.
Before starting to explore the mines, it is necessary to acquire the following equipment:
Additionally, we highly recommend purchasing an inventory expansion in the town to have more space for loot. After this, you can confidently start exploring the dungeons.
To access the second biome of the dungeons, you need to open the door on the nineteenth level. To do this, talk to the character Juniper in town and translate the plaque found at the entrance to the next biome. This will activate the quest The Water Tablet to find items to open the door.
Then head to the mines and find the following items on the levels Upper Mines (1–19):
After collecting all the necessary materials, go to the twentieth level and interact with the plaque. Give the required items, and the door to the next levels will open.
On the thirty-ninth level, players will encounter a plaque that needs to be translated by Juniper. This will activate a new story quest The Earth Tablet. After this, you can start searching for new items to open the door to the next biome.
On the levels Tide Caverns (21-39), you need to find the following items:
After collecting all the necessary ingredients, head to the plaque and give the items. This will grant access to the next levels of the mine.
The Faceted Rock Gem artifact is needed to access the next levels of the mines Lava Caves (60–80). This stone can be found on the levels Deep Earth (40–60). Players will definitely need a shovel, as the mineral can be dug out from a pronounced mound on the ground. Faceted Rock Gem appears on levels 55–59.
The stone will drop as an unidentified artifact. To study it, take the item in your hands and press the E button. After this, the artifact will be identified, and you will learn that it is the required mineral.
This artifact is also an exhibit in the museum collection Deep Earth Set. Additionally, the stone can be sold for a very good price. However, it cannot be used in crafting or as a decoration.
On the levels Deep Earth (40–60), you can find the plant Rockroot. It is presented as a small stone stump.
This item is necessary to access the next levels of the dungeons Deep Earth (40–60). The plant can be consumed as food, although it is not currently an ingredient in any recipes. Additionally, this material can be sold for a small amount or gifted to the characters blacksmith Olric and the dog Dozy.
The plant is sometimes found with the wandering trader Balor. His stall can be found at the entrance to the town from the south side, right after exiting the player's estate area.
