Sony's cinematic universe has been developing rather one-sidedly, slowly moving from solo projects to large-scale crossovers. Despite fans' expectations, the Venom trilogy with Tom Hardy and Spider-Man with Tom Holland still exist in their own universes, but this may soon change.
Sony Pictures Japan hinted in a recent press release that Spider-Man 4 may feature the long-awaited meeting of the symbiote and the friendly neighborhood spider. The division revealed some details about the film, teasing fans with a mention of Tom Hardy:
Tom Hardy himself has mentioned that he would not mind playing with his namesake in one of the projects. In addition, the actor has not said goodbye to the role of Eddie Brock and is ready to return to the image, despite the ending of the threequel. As for Spider-Man 4, the film with Tom Holland will be released on July 24, 2026.
We recently showed the first official frame from the film Tron: Ares with Jared Leto. A photo from the filming of the new Predator also appeared, in which the alien hunter himself appeared.
