First Poster and Teaser Trailer Revealed for James Gunn's Superman

The DCU is gradually preparing for a major update — the first teaser and poster for the new Superman have been shown. The film was directed by James Gunn, who previously worked on Guardians of the Galaxy for Marvel.

The poster and video were given the subtitle «Look Up». The teaser only shows the updated logo of the Kryptonian and the promise that the full trailer will be presented this Thursday, December 19.

Recall that the role of Superman in the new film adaptation will be played by David Corenswet. The film will also feature Lex Luthor played by Nicholas Hoult, Green Lantern and Mister Terrific, as well as the dog Krypto. The premiere of the film will take place on July 11, 2025.

Earlier, information appeared that the finale of the animated trilogy Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse would be postponed to 2027.
