Filming for Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey Set to Begin in January
In December, it was officially announced that Christopher Nolan's next film will be an adaptation of the epic poem The Odyssey. According to Production Weekly, filming is set to begin this January.
The production is expected to continue until April, with the premiere scheduled for July 17, 2026.
The film will feature a host of Hollywood stars, including Charlize Theron, Tom Holland, Matt Damon, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong'o, and Robert Pattinson.
The plot of the The Odyssey poem follows the King of Ithaca as he embarks on a long journey home after the fall of Troy. The character encounters ancient gods and mythical creatures, with his main goal being to return to his family.
As a reminder, Christopher Nolan's previous film was Oppenheimer, which received an 8.3 rating on IMDb and grossed $976.8 million against a $100 million budget.
