First look at Superman in new film revealed

James Gunn has shared a first look at Superman in the upcoming film. The character will be played by actor David Corenswet, who has starred in projects such as House of Cards, The Politician, and Hollywood.

The upcoming film, titled Superman, is directed by James Gunn, who also wrote the screenplay. Peter Safran is producing. Rachel Brosnahan will play Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult will play Lex Luthor, Nathan Fillion will play Green Lantern, and Anthony Carrigan will play Metallo. Filming for the movie began on March 1.

The film is set to be released on July 11, 2025.
