The Japanese X-account of Ubisoft published a post with apologies regarding the historical inaccuracy in Assassin's Creed: Shadows. Last month, Japanese reenactors from the Sekigahara Teppo Corps discovered that the developers had placed their flag on the concept art of the game and demanded its removal.

On July 8, the company reported that it had already apologized to the organization. They promised not to use images with the flag, but they will be included in the artbook of the collector's edition.

The company has not yet commented on other complaints about the game. Recently, gamers created a petition demanding the cancellation of the development of Assassin's Creed: Shadows, and now it has gathered as many as 70 thousand signatures.

Assassin's Creed: Shadows will be released on November 15 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. You can watch the latest gameplay here.
