Remedy has published a new financial report for the first half of 2024. Here's what we've learned:
The remake of the original Max Payne duology has entered the full development stage. Recently, the team was working on an early prototype that allows the game to be played from start to finish;
The multiplayer spin-off Control (Codename Condor) is also in full development. The authors have several maps and mission types, which are already being actively tested;
Control 2 has moved to the production readiness stage. According to the developers, the current build already has several key mechanics, and they are in a playable state;
Revenue increased by 16.2% to 10.3 million euros;
Remedy intends to expand the internal universe that includes the Control and Alan Wake franchises;
Alan Wake 2 has recouped most of its costs, but exact sales data is not disclosed.
The Max Payne Remake was announced in April 2022. The game is being created in collaboration with Rockstar Games, which owns the rights to the series.
