A cooperative mode is being developed for Assassin's Creed: Shadows, reports reliable insider Tim Henderson. The mode is codenamed League and is planned for release after the game's launch.
Henderson does not know the exact release date of the cooperative mode, as the recent delay of Shadows has affected the development schedule. Gameplay details are also unknown, but there is speculation that players will complete joint missions as Naoe and Yasuke.
Among other Assassin's Creed games in development, Henderson also mentioned the multiplayer Invictus, which is expected to be released in 2025. Ubisoft is also working on a remake of Black Flag and Codename Hexe, which is described as the darkest Assassin's Creed to date.
Assassin's Creed: Shadows will be released on February 14 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5.
