Valve released a major patch for Deadlock, adding six new heroes
A major update has been released for the online shooter Deadlock. Valve has added an experimental mode called Hero Labs and six new characters: Holliday, Calico, Wrecker, Fathom, Viper, and Magician.
In Hero Labs, players can try out heroes at an early stage of development and provide feedback on design and other aspects. Developers will frequently remove, add, and change heroes, so there will be no time to get bored.
Currently, the test mode operates for several hours a day. To unlock it, you first need to play 50 matches.
The fresh patch also added a commendation system, reworked lighting, and fixed numerous bugs. The full list of changes is available here.
Previously, Valve updated Deadlock's anti-cheat system, which turns dishonest gamers into frogs.
