The Game Kitchen has released the Android version of the grim Metroidvania, Blasphemous, initially launched on PC and consoles. It's available on Google Play.
Blasphemous is a brutal 2D action-platformer set in the dark world of Cvstodia, cursed by a horrific blight. Players take on the role of The Penitent One, tasked with saving a world consumed by a twisted religion. The Android version boasts the same content as the PC and console releases. An iOS version is planned for release on February 24th, 2025, via the App Store. Like the Android version, it will be a paid title (priced at $8).
The original Blasphemous launched in 2019 to a 90% positive rating on Steam. Its sequel arrived in 2023, earning a 92% rating on Steam. Blasphemous 2's mobile port is yet to be announced.
