New Game Announced: Agatha Christie — Death on the Nile
Microids has announced a new game in the Agatha Christie detective series. The project is subtitled Death on the Nile. The developers have already released the first teaser and screenshots.
The main events take place in the 1970s. The plot follows detectives Hercule Poirot and Jane Royce as they track down a killer hiding in Egypt.
"This story doesn't end with the book—it offers more mysteries and plot twists that will surprise even Agatha Christie's fans", — reads the description.
Key features include the ability to play as two characters, a face-off system, diverse settings, and a dynamic mini-map that allows players to gather and connect clues to solve crimes.
The project is being developed for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. A Steam page is already available. The release is expected in 2025.
