Marvel Studios Head Confirms Black Panther 3 with Denzel Washington

Last month, Denzel Washington let slip that Marvel is set to release the comic book movie Black Panther 3. Recently, this information was officially confirmed, although plot details remain unknown.

Additionally, Marvel Studios' Vice President of Production and Development, Nate Moore, announced that he plans to leave the company next year. Until then, he will be involved in the making of Black Panther 3.

I feel lucky to have worked with a group of people who love filmmaking and storytelling as much as my Marvel colleagues and the cast and crew of our films. But I couldn’t be more excited to apply my experience and passion for film towards theatrical movies in all genres, including returning to the world of Wakanda for Black Panther 3.

Following this statement, Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios Co-President Louis D'Esposito confirmed that Black Panther 3 is indeed in production.

Very little is known about the film at this time. Preliminary information suggests that one of the lead roles will be played by Denzel Washington, and the director will be Ryan Coogler, who directed the previous two installments.

As a reminder, Marvel Studios Head Kevin Feige previously shared which MCU film he is most looking forward to in 2025.
