The sister of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman accused her brother of sexualized abuse

Ann Altman, the sister of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, has filed a lawsuit against her brother, accusing him of sexualized abuse from 1997 to 2006.

Ann Altman claims the first instance of abuse occurred during early childhood when she was three years old and Sam was 12. In the lawsuit, she states that she suffered "severe emotional distress" and was unable to live a "normal life." She is seeking damages of over $75,000.

Sam Altman has denied the allegations, calling them "deeply offensive and entirely false." In a joint statement made with his mother and two brothers, it is stated that Ann suffers from a mental disorder and has previously accused others of sexual abuse. The Altman family asserts that they care for Ann's well-being and cover her expenses, but she continues to demand more money and refuses traditional treatment.

We ask for understanding and compassion from everyone as we continue to support Annie in the best way we can. We sincerely hope she finds the stability and peace she's been searching for.
