Intel Core Ultra 200 processors become 1.5 times faster after BIOS update
Intel has released a BIOS update that significantly enhanced the single-thread performance of Core Ultra 200 processors. According to tests conducted by Intel, the new patch increased performance by as much as 52% in Cinebench R24 tests. This solution allows processors of this generation to outperform their predecessors, the 14th generation Core.
Previously, the release of the Core Ultra 200 was overshadowed by the disappointment of gamers who faced reduced gaming performance compared to processors from earlier series, such as the Core i9-14900KS. After the release of patch 0x114, the situation did not improve, but the new BIOS update fixes the issue, providing a 17.5% increase in FPS and a 30% reduction in memory latency.
Preliminary testing results show significant improvements in popular games and reduced latency, making the new processors more competitive, especially when compared to the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. As a result of the update, Core Ultra 200 processors are now the most powerful on the market, solidifying Intel's position among gamers.
