Leaks reveal Radeon RX 9070 XT's specs and $479 starting price

Recent leaks from the Chinese forum Chiphell shed light on the highly anticipated AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT. Expected to launch soon, this RDNA 4-based graphics card promises performance comparable to the Radeon RX 7900 XT, with a starting price of $479 for the reference model and up to $549 for custom designs by AMD’s partners.

Preliminary benchmarks in 3DMark Time Spy and Speed Way suggest the RX 9070 XT outperforms the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER by 6–8%. It boasts 16GB of VRAM, a base clock of 2520 MHz, and a boost clock reaching 3060 MHz, while consuming around 330W of power.

Independent reviews are expected to drop on January 22, coinciding with the lifting of the non-disclosure agreement.
