«Yes, That's My Ass»: Streamer Claims to Be the Model for Marvel Rivals Heroines, Shows «Proof»

Marvel Rivals made a staggering $100 million in its first month, with the allure of its superhero designs playing a major role in its success. As it turns out, those designs may have very real inspirations.

In December, streamer and model Alanya Alisha, also known as DeputyARUUU, revealed she was the inspiration behind Psylocke. Developers from Netease reportedly invited her to their studio to take measurements, transferring her proportions directly into the game.

It's funny because we were told we weren't allowed to be public about modeling but since that cat is outta the bag -- YES! That is my ASS. They had to take my dimensions for Psylocke's in game model & basically it was a whole process but I guess y'all figured it out haha.

The streamer shared several "proofs" of her role as Psylocke's model. She explained that she previously worked in the fashion industry but eventually pivoted to streaming and gaming.

Just days ago, Marvel Rivals announced the arrival of Sue Storm from the Fantastic Four. As it turns out, Sue’s figure is also based on Alanya’s measurements.

Got off the phone with the team & they’ve let me know my dimensions were recycled for a certain invisible lady. So incredibly thankful to be able to say THATS MY ASS again. Never thought this would happen but I think I’m making a pretty good name for myself in the gaming industry.

Interestingly, Sue Storm has already become a fan favorite. Players particularly love a paid skin that transforms the superhero into the villainous Malice.

Meanwhile, Marvel Rivals has launched its first full season, themed around Dracula. The update introduces new heroes, a map, and a battle pass.
