Fresh updates about the upcoming Xbox Developer_Direct online showcase have surfaced. Scheduled for next week, the event promises the reveal of a mysterious game that, according to Windows Central, "should make a lot of fans happy."
While journalists refrained from disclosing the game's title, they hinted that it belongs to a legendary Japanese series with decades of history. Earlier, insider The Snitch speculated that the announcement might be a remake of Persona 4, though it's unclear if such a project could be described as a "new" entry.
The showcase is set for January 23. Confirmed appearances include: Doom: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
Meanwhile, new details about the Oblivion remake have emerged. According to a Virtuos team member, the game will feature a significantly revamped combat system.
