Insider Reveals Two Supervillains Originally Planned for the New Spider-Man Movie

As you may know, Marvel Studios is preparing the fourth installment of Spider-Man with Tom Holland in the lead role. Recently, it was revealed which villains were initially considered for the film but were ultimately dropped during the scriptwriting phase.

The villains in question are Shocker and Scorpion, who previously appeared in the film Spider-Man: Homecoming. This information comes from insider Daniel Richtman.

They are still rewriting the script for Spider-Man 4. The original version before they scrapped it had Scorpion and Shocker.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Shocker (Herman Schultz) was portrayed by actor Bokeem Woodbine, while Scorpion (Mac Gargan) was played by Michael Mando. Additionally, there is another Shocker (Jackson Brice) in the film, played by Logan Marshall-Green.

The premiere of Spider-Man 4 is scheduled for July 2026. Despite some rumors about the appearance of Peter Parker portrayed by Andrew Garfield, the actor denied this information last year.
