Bloomberg's Jason Schreier reports that Warner Bros. Games has decided to shut down three of its game development studios.

The studios being shuttered are Monolith Productions, known for the F.E.A.R. series, Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, and Middle-earth: Shadow of War; Player First Games, the studio behind the fighting game MultiVersus, which is scheduled to shut down in May 2025; and WB Games San Diego, which focused on mobile projects. In addition, Warner Bros. Games has reportedly canceled the Wonder Woman game that was announced in 2021.

Update: Warner Bros. Discovery has officially confirmed the studio closures. The company will focus on four key franchises: Harry Potter, Mortal Kombat, DC, and Game of Thrones.

Previously, Jason Schreier reported that the developers of Gotham Knights had planned a game based on Constantine, but the idea was rejected.
