ASRock presents RX 9070 XT & RX 9070 GPUs at CES 2025

ASRock has showcased its latest custom Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 graphics cards at CES 2025, including the Taichi, Steel Legend, and Challenger models. These GPUs, built on AMD's RDNA 4 architecture, are set to launch later in Q1 2025, alongside the introduction of FSR 4, an AI-powered upscaling technology.

The Radeon RX 9070 XT Taichi is ASRock’s top-tier offering, featuring a massive triple-slot cooling system, a refreshed shroud design, and a reinforced backplate. The standout feature is the inclusion of a 12+4-pin 12V-2×6 power connector, making it the first Radeon GPU to adopt this configuration, which is also used in NVIDIA’s RTX 50 series. The card also includes dual BIOS for silent and performance modes, as well as a switch to disable RGB lighting.

The Steel Legend model inherits its cooling system from ASRock's Arc B580 Steel Legend OC. It features a white design with three RGB-illuminated fans and a switch to toggle the lighting. The card is powered by two 8-pin connectors, delivering a more conventional setup compared to the Taichi model.

The Radeon RX 9070 Challenger has an updated design with three fans instead of two and a slimmer dual-slot profile. It boasts a minimalist aesthetic with a subdued RGB accent, making it the most compact option in ASRock's new lineup.

While the detailed specifications remain under wraps, it’s confirmed that both RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 models will feature 16 GB of GDDR6 memory. These GPUs highlight ASRock’s commitment to delivering high-performance solutions with a focus on design, customization, and future-ready technology. ASRock’s new Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 graphics cards promise to be a valuable addition to the RDNA 4 lineup.
