Free Beta Testing of Monster Hunter Wilds Has Started on Steam
After the end of the open beta test on PlayStation 5, the developers of Monster Hunter Wilds opened the OBT for PC players. For several days, Steam users can try out the new action game from Capcom for free.
The testing will last from today until November 4, you can join the OBT on the game page. Gamers will have access to the character editor, some story challenges, and a full raid on one of the monsters. During the training, you can hunt Chatakabra as part of a test mission, after which the hunt for Doshaguma will open. The player will have a mount, two types of weapons, and an optional multiplayer mode with the ability to summon NPC hunters. OBT participants will receive special rewards, which can then be transferred to the full version of the game along with the character.
By the way, the online beta of Monster Hunter Wilds on Steam exceeded 450 thousand players at its peak. The release of the action game is scheduled for February 28, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
Earlier, participants in the Monster Hunter Wilds OBT on PS5 shared characters from other games and films that they were able to create in the editor.
