New Controller for PC and Xbox Announced, Reminiscent of PS5's DualSense

At CES 2025, Hyperkin unveiled a new wireless gaming controller for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC called The Competitor. Interestingly, the gamepad's design resembles the PS5's DualSense.

The controller is primarily aimed at professional gamers participating in various gaming competitions. A standout feature compared to the Xbox Wireless Controller is the symmetrical placement of Hall effect sticks (which have no dead zones and are more durable than regular analog sticks). The triggers also feature Hall effect technology, providing additional precision when pressed.

On the back of the controller, there are two customizable buttons that can be used to perform specific actions in games. According to the initial teaser, the buttons (D-pad, as well as X, Y, B, A) and sticks are equipped with LED backlighting.

The release date, price, and other details will be announced later.
