The creators of Yakuza will show their new game in September

Studio Ryu Ga Gotoku, known for the Yakuza series, will present its new project this fall. Previously, the developers said that their next game would «surprise» fans.

According to the VGC portal, the announcement will take place in September at Tokyo Game Show 2024. There are no other details, but earlier at Anime Expo a studio representative stirred up the interest of Yakuza fans with an intriguing wording:

The latest project in the series, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, was released earlier this year on PC and consoles. The game started very successfully, earning 90/100 points on OpenCritic.

Let us remind you that Amazon recently announced a series based on Yakuza — the first three episodes will be available to watch on October 25.
