Amazon announced a TV show based on the gangster series Yakuza

Amazon unexpectedly announced another game adaptation — a series based on the Yakuza series. The first season will include six episodes. The first three will be released on October 25, and the rest on November 1.

The series will tell the story of the main character of the first parts, Kazuma Kiryu. The events will unfold in 1995 and 2005 in Japan.

The main role will be played by Ryoma Takeuchi, who worked on the anime «Blue Exorcist“. The directors Masaharu Take (”100 Yen Love») and Kengo Takimoto («Kamen Rider») will be responsible for the production.

Earlier, Amazon released the debut trailer for the second season of «The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power». By the way, a new film about Gollum is currently in development.
