First Mortal Kombat 2 Movie Footage Released Featuring Kitana, Scorpion, and Shao Kahn

Entertainment Weekly has shared the first stills of Mortal Kombat 2 featuring iconic characters from the series. Recall that the film will premiere in theaters on October 25.
Viewers were shown the first look at Johnny Cage played by Karl Urban, Liu Kang by Ludi Lin, Sonya Blade played by Jessica McNamee, Kitana by Adeline Rudolph, Shao Kahn by Martyn Ford, and Scorpion by Hiroyuki Sanada.
One of the creators of the Mortal Kombat series and creative director of NetherRealm Studios Ed Boon shared some details about the film:
It's not just a tournament for the sake of a tournament. There are huge consequences, so you really are keeping score. And there are (film) a lot of twists in it that keep you on your toes.
By the way, new character skins from the film adaptation will soon appear in Mortal Kombat 1. Among them will be Johnny Cage, Kitana, and Shao Kahn.
Recall that the T-1000 from Terminator 2 was previously added to the fighting game. Players have already compared his fatalities to scenes from the original film.
