Console Commands (codes, cheats) for Crusader Kings 3

Crusader Kings 3 is a complex game. If you're having trouble, you can use codes (console commands) that will significantly ease your gameplay. This guide will tell you where to enter codes and how to open (enable) the console.

Where to enter codes and how to open (enable) the console

  1. Go to the game properties in Steam;
  2. Navigate to the Set Launch Options;
  3. Enter the command -debug_mode;
  4. Start the game and press the ~ (tilde) key to enter the required command.

List of codes (console commands)

  • age β€” add [amount] years to [character ID], if no character is specified, then to the player's character. Negative values will decrease age;
  • add_claim β€” add a claim to [title ID] and [character ID], if no character is specified, then to the player's character;
  • add_doctrine β€” add [doctrine ID] to [faith ID], if no faith is specified, then to the player's character's faith. Clicking on the tab displays all doctrine IDs;
  • add_dread β€” add [amount] of dread to [character ID], if no character is specified, then to the player's character. Negative values decrease the score;
  • add_maa β€” add [regiment ID] of soldiers to [character ID], if no character is specified, then to the player's character. Clicking on the tab displays all regiment IDs;
  • add_perk β€” add [perk ID] to [character ID], if no character is specified, then to the player's character. Clicking on the tab displays all perk IDs;
  • add_piety β€” add [amount] of piety to the player's character. Negative values decrease the score. Default is 1000;
  • add_prestige β€” add [amount] of prestige to the player's character. Negative values decrease the score. Default is 1000;
  • add_realm_law β€” pass [law ID] into the realm of [character ID], if no character is specified, then into the realm of the player's character. Clicking on the tab displays all law IDs;
  • add_realm_law_skip_effects β€” add [law ID] into the realm of [character ID], if no character is specified, then into the realm of the player's character. Clicking on the tab displays all law IDs;
  • add_relation β€” add [relation ID] between [character ID] and [character ID], if only one indicator is specified, then between the player's character and the selected one;
  • add_secret β€” add [secret ID] to the player's character. Clicking on the tab displays all secret IDs;
  • add_stress β€” add [amount] of stress to [character ID], if no character is specified, then to the player's character. Negative values decrease the score;
  • add_title_law β€” add [inheritance law ID] to [title ID];
  • add_trait β€” add [trait ID] to [character ID], if no character is specified, then to the player's character. Clicking on the tab displays all trait IDs;
  • add_lifestyle_xp_all β€” add [amount] of experience to all lifestyle [character ID], if no character is specified, then to the player's character. Default is 1000;
  • add_diplomacy_lifestyle_xp β€” add [amount] of diplomacy lifestyle experience to [character ID], if no character is specified, then to the player's character. Default is 1000;
  • add_martial_lifestyle_xp β€” add [amount] of martial lifestyle experience to [character ID], if no character is specified, then to the player's character. Default is 1000;
  • add_stewardship_lifestyle_xp β€” add [amount] of stewardship lifestyle experience to [character ID], if no character is specified, then to the player's character. Default is 1000;
  • add_intrigue_lifestyle_xp β€” add [amount] of intrigue lifestyle experience to [character ID], if no character is specified, then to the player's character. Default is 1000;
  • add_learning_lifestyle_xp β€” add [amount] of learning lifestyle experience to [character ID], if no character is specified, then to the player's character. Default is 1000;
  • change_culture β€” change the culture of [county ID] and [culture ID];
  • change_development_level β€” add [amount] of development to [county ID], if no county is specified, then to the player's character's capital. Negative values decrease the score;
  • change_fervor β€” add [amount] of fervor to [faith ID], if no faith is specified, then to the player's character's faith. Negative values decrease the score. Default is 10;
  • change_diplomacy β€” add [amount] of diplomacy skill to [character ID], if no character is specified, then to the player's character. Negative values decrease the score;
  • change_martial β€” add [amount] of martial skill to [character ID], if no character is specified, then to the player's character. Negative values decrease the score;
  • change_stewardship β€” add [amount] of stewardship skill to [character ID], if no character is specified, then to the player's character. Negative values decrease the score;
  • change_intrigue β€” add [amount] of intrigue skill to [character ID], if no character is specified, then to the player's character. Negative values decrease the score;
  • change_learning β€” add [amount] of learning skill to [character ID], if no character is specified, then to the player's character. Negative values decrease the score;
  • change_prowess β€” add [amount] of prowess skill to [character ID], if no character is specified, then to the player's character. Negative values decrease the score;
  • clear_character_modifiers β€” remove all character modifiers from [character ID], if no character is specified, then the player's character;
  • clear_title_laws β€” remove all inheritance laws from [title ID];
  • clear_traits β€” remove all traits from [character ID], if no character is specified, then the player's character;
  • discover_all_eras β€” discover all innovations for the culture of [character ID], if no character is specified, then the player's character;
  • discover_era β€” discover [era ID] and all its innovations for the player's character's culture. Clicking on the tab displays all era IDs. The current era will be set by default;
  • discover_fascination β€” discover the current fascination of the culture of [character ID], if no character is specified, then the player's character;
  • discover_innovation β€” discover [innovation ID] for the culture of [character ID], if no character is specified, then the player's character. Clicking on the tab displays all innovation IDs;
  • dynasty_prestige β€” add [amount] of prestige to [dynasty ID], if no dynasty is specified, then the player's character's dynasty. Negative values decrease the score. Default is 1000;
  • end_schemes β€” cancel all schemes targeted at the player's character;
  • event β€” trigger [event ID];
  • gain_all_dynasty_perks β€” acquire all dynasty legacies for the dynasty of [character ID], if no character is specified, then for the player's character;
  • gain_all_perks β€” grant all lifestyle perks to [character ID], if no character is specified, then to the player's character;
  • give_title β€” assign [title ID] to [character ID], if no character is specified, then to the player's character;
  • gold β€” add [amount] of gold to the player's character. Negative values decrease the amount. Default is 1000;
  • instabuild β€” constructions in the player's character's holdings will be completed in one day. Re-entering the command will disable the process;
  • instant_birth β€” pregnancy lasts one day. Re-entering the command disables the process;
  • join_era β€” enter [era ID] for the culture of [character ID], if no character is specified, then for the player's character. Clicking on the tab displays all era IDs;
  • kill β€” kill [character ID], if no character is specified, then the player's character;
  • know_schemes β€” reveal all schemes targeted at the player's character;
  • merge_culture β€” change the culture of all counties from [culture ID] to [culture ID];
  • pregnancy β€” make a female [character ID] pregnant by [character ID], if no character is specified, then unknown father;
  • remove_doctrine β€” remove [doctrine ID] from [faith ID], if no faith is specified, then the player's character's faith. Clicking on the tab displays all doctrine IDs;
  • remove_nick β€” remove the current nickname from [character ID], if no character is specified, then the player's character;
  • remove_relation β€” remove [relationship ID] between [character ID] and [character ID], if only one is specified, then between the player's character and the selected;
