It turns out everything is very simple in the save folder there is a file gameinfo.json

you need to replace the "gameMode" value:

0 -Survival

1 -Free mode

2 -Hardcore

3 -Creative

Saves for Subnautica are stored in 99.9% of cases either in the folder with the game installation program (steam, origin, uplay), unless of course your game is licensed. Or in the computer user folder - C:UsersVasyaAppDataRoaming Instead of Vasya - “the name of your computer”.
