Age of Empires 2: Forgotten Empires — introduced 5 new civilizations (Inca, Indians, Italians, Magyars and Slavs), new units and technologies, new maps, improved AI, higher population limit, improved screen rendering, bug fixes and several tweaks to old units, technologies and bonuses for improvement game balance. There is no clear plot in this game. However, there are as many as 7 campaigns with completely different events and related to real history (some are based on it, the creation was based on it). Therefore, fans of historical games will be able to get to know the period of empires a little better by going through the story for each side. And sometimes there will even be stories related to legends, which will add variety.
