The most disappointing part

And not even because it's complete crap. Not at all. The game is simply very beautiful, the re-animated parkour is visually pleasing, the combat system has finally stopped being based on counterattacks, crowds of people with dozens of animations that make you believe that the world is alive, a normal ratio of buildings. All this is very pleasing until the first hour of the game passes.

I'm silent about bugs and glitches. I am silent that stable 60 fps is an unrealistic legend. The game simply put together and implemented its ideas very crookedly. The plot is so full of holes that it feels like you are watching an alpha version of the script. The main tasks copy 2-3 templates. There are side tasks and you don’t even understand at the beginning what they are and wh… Read full

E3 2014. Announcement of a new part in the AC series with the subtitle Unity. Revolutionary Paris, a huge open world in which buildings are recreated one to one, beautiful graphics that have surpassed all previous games. Now it’s time for release, and what’s the result? A terribly buggy and crooked game that slows down even on top-end PCs. As always, Ubisoft has "excellent" optimization. What else can you expect after so many games in which she also limped? It seems that the game has new gameplay, but no, it is the same, just slightly redone. The only thing that is more or less pleasing is the redesigned parkour system. And so they removed the ability to fight with a hidden blade, crammed in a bunch of unnecessary customization items, and hiding from the guards on a bench is now a special … Read full

AS Unity is a game from which everyone expected something revolutionary, and due to the fact that the game was overrated, it could not be appreciated. The game is actually good for the next part of AC.

I'm very pleased with the fact that they changed the parkour system. Now you won't accidentally fall while jumping from one building to another due to stupid controls. The graphics are also at the level of an AAA project; in fact, today it is difficult to create a game with poor graphics at the current level of development of the gaming industry.

The plot is not bad at all: there are intrigues, love affairs, failures and happy moments everywhere. The open world is not bad, but it is far from being considered alive; all NPCs do almost the same thing: some carry coffins, crosses, others just si… Read full

Yes, I played and am now playing this game, it’s super and excellent, I advise everyone to play it.

So, Unity. Insanely unfair hate, which was not the least of the reasons for the fall of the series. And of course the eternal pressure from the publisher.

For me, this game is the best among all parts, and even better than the second, if compared ideologically, because comparing the rest would be unfair in relation to the second, due to the time difference.

The best open world in the series, an insane amount of small details, believable historical buildings - this is a separate art. And in addition - better parkour, a more complex, comprehensive system, making this world even

more interesting to explore.

The combat system is also very good, although it requires some improvements. The difficulty may be higher than in other parts, but overall it is still easy. High variety of weapons and fai… Read full

Even though the story is over, I still play it, the graphics are excellent (even though I’m not a fan of looking at pixels). Excellent stealth, good combat, character customization, weapons with which you can have fun. In general, it’s better to play if at the start it put you off with its lags and bugs. The game is worth giving it a second chance.

Unity was a disappointment when it released in 2014. Bugs, divine optimization, "empty faces", etc. Even now Syndicate runs smoother than Unity. It’s not for nothing that the series is called a conveyor belt; the first thing that caught my eye while playing through it was that the GG reminds me of... Edward Canway from the 4th part. Not in appearance, but in character. Ubisoft is so “tired” of riveting assassins that even their GGs are churned out according to the same concept. And the longer you delve into the series, the more repetitions you notice. In other respects, the character of the GG as a free-thinking, charismatic tomboy is not bad, at least during the passage I didn’t have to yawn from the cut scenes. The cinematography is of course 5+. And the plot is not bad overall. Intrigue… Read full

Pros

Gameplay - Parkour in this part is much easier than the previous parts

Open World - I only liked the Atmosphere of the game

Cons

Plot - So-so

Joint Tasks - On paper it probably sounded good, but in reality, not so much

Add. Quests - There are a lot of Parisian stories and they get very tiring already in the middle of the game, Also the investigations are very boring and also the riddles of Nostradamus are generally terrible, there are also companion quests, well, just kill the target and that’s it

Donat - to find the quests you need buy cards for real money, well, you can find them yourself, but it will take a lot of time

RPG component - To pass the level you must match the level of the character and also the weapon

There are more disadvantages than advantages Read full

The game reminds me of a crooked and unsuccessful DLS. Pros: good plot, interest in the picturesque location of old Paris during the fall. Minus: the optimization is terrible, a couple of races the graphics settings were off, textures were missing, the combat was crooked compared to the same 4 assassins

1) Fantastically beautiful part. Even if there were some bugs at one time, today everything works smoothly. Every brick, every window has been carefully worked out; in the apartments of the rich there are expensive draperies, paintings, expensive furniture; in the simpler people there are simple wooden chairs, tables, and the sights of Paris.

The parkour in this part is incredibly watchable, smooth and effective, and also multi-level: along the top, and through buildings on different floors. The city is really alive, people sit there in cafes, sing songs, dance, kiss, plunder churches, go on strike. By the way, there are really a lot of crowds now and hiding in them is very possible.

2) Content: all tasks are based on three actions: kill, steal, find. The main plot is in the spirit of the s… Read full

Much was expected from the game, but all expectations and hopes were dashed after release. My attention was drawn to the new game engine and the fact that the action will take place during the French Revolution. But alas, I didn’t like the game - to put it mildly.

Ubisoft, as always, showed us a beautiful trailer, but in the end it turned out to be a very bad game. Among the minuses, I can note a very bad plot, which I got tired of very quickly and did not at all draw me into the story of the main character. The optimization is simply terrible, even many patches did not immediately solve the problems that arose during the game. I kept falling into textures or sometimes even getting stuck in them.

The only advantage is the large open world, but again it has many shortcomings that can only be … Read full

Advanced graphics, great storyline, good optimization... But that's not what this game is about!

Here you will meet all your virtual nightmares. LAGS, BUGS, stuck in textures, freezes, discarding saves, etc.

The game tells about the French revolution, into which our hero finds himself. And what does he do? Yes, that’s right, he just goes around and kills Templars who are disliked by the assassins. There are, of course, some tripaks with a return to the future and the past. Mini missions and other activities. But everything is spoiled by optimization and donation.

I recently passed this part of the AK. What can I say, the graphics and environment are excellent. That's all, actually. The plot is very short and kind of completely stupid, especially the twist at the end. The additional tasks are essentially all the same type and get boring pretty quickly. The controls are kind of unresponsive, Arno always climbs and clings to wherever he is not asked. The prices for equipment are just off the charts. Overall, I expected a little more from this game.
