Asterix & Obelix: Slap them All! — a classic beat 'em up with a side view, based on the comic book "The Adventures of Asterix and Obelix". The main opponents of the Gauls are the Romans, who are trying to capture the village of heroes. The Gauls can resist the empire thanks to a magic potion brewed by a local druid. The decoction gives superhuman strength and speed, but only lasts for a limited time.

Asterix relies on cunning and ingenuity, and uses the potion in the most hopeless situations. Obelix is ​​his opposite. As a child, he fell into a cauldron of broth and became an invincible machine for the destruction of Roman cohorts. The third member of the team is the dog — Ideafix (Dogmatix). The little dog is very smart and has saved the heroes from difficult situations more than once.

All you have to do is destroy crowds of different enemies. There are naturally two characters: you can choose one or change them alternately — the techniques and abilities are the same. The only difference is the damage from enemy attacks. However, with a light one you risk falling asleep in the process, so there is no point in choosing something below average.

The heroes move from left to right, destroying opponents and sometimes breaking barrels. In them you can find food to replenish health or coins, which also drop from enemies. Although coins are needed only to compare the final score of the characters. There is no internal magazine, so when playing solo, you are unlikely to pay attention to them.
