Asura's Wrath

Asura's Wrath is a fast-paced Japanese-style third-person action slasher. Long ago, in the state of Shinkoku, eight deities — the Eight Guardians — saved humanity by defeating the destructive force known as Gonma. However, during the celebration of the triumph, Emperor Shinkoku was treacherously killed. The blame for this atrocity was placed on Asura. His wife was put to death, his daughter was kidnapped, and his betrothed brother Yasha turned away from him and became an enemy. Asura was expelled from Shinkoku and stripped of his power. Having awakened from sleep after 12 thousand years, Asura discovered that he was able to turn his furious anger and great thirst for vengeance against his enemies. And now woe to anyone who stands in his way.
