Have you ever dreamed of plunging into the Middle Ages, the era of knightly tournaments and crusades? Both are available in Crusader Kings 2, a wonderful simulator of a medieval ruler. You can play for absolutely any country: from Poland to Mali, and in absolutely any time period: from the Times of Charlemagne to the invasion of the Golden Horde. Unlike other global strategies of Paradox Interactive, the personality of the ruler himself and his characteristics play a big role here. This game is very addictive, you can spend more than one night trying to curb the rebellious vassals and cope with the pagans. In addition, the Crusaders claim historical accuracy. Crusader kings 2 is significantly different from other grand strategies from Paradox interactive. The main difference of this game is the secondary role of the state, while the main goal of the game is to lead the family from the beginning to the end of the game. Lands can be gained and lost, but you have one family, and there are many ways to die in the game. You may be killed by an enemy in a fair fight, or you may become a victim of a conspiracy by your younger brother, whose only life separated him from the throne. In cases of extreme luck, you can die from a random event in rather absurd situations, for example, falling from a balcony.

Unfortunately this game cannot be played in the Far East or America, but you still have all of Europe, northern Africa and the Middle East at your disposal.

It allows you to feel yourself from a northern Finnish pagan robbing pitiful European women to a real Roman emperor who is participating in a great crusade. One of the best mechanics of the game is the event system, which allows you to fully experience being the head of state. Although the game even allows you to play as a simple vassal, owned by a small, seedy lordship. Otherwise, it is the player's choice. The game can also boast that it sometimes keeps the player in suspense, because if you don’t have an heir, and you own a world empire, then the game is finished!

In conclusion, I want to say that I personally was fa… Read full
