Desolate Shores

Desolate Shores is a third-person shooter in the fantasy genre. Terraforming changed the planet by creating a breathable atmosphere with the help of plants and bacteria. Cities were built. Things went well at first, but scientists didn't expect how much ice was buried beneath the surface. Soon parts of the planet were flooded, and settlers gathered on those parts that were on higher ground.

Not everyone who gathered on the high ground was human. Alien life lived underground, an ant colony of humanoid creatures guarding their eggs. They, too, found refuge in the higher elevations, bringing eggs with them. You responded to a distress call from a cut-off island and landed to try to find survivors. You will have to follow the instructions of the senior officer and then try to escape back to the base.
