Drakengard 3 takes place approximately one hundred years before the events of Drakengard, making it a prequel to the first two games in the series. Despite this, Drakengard 3 features mostly separate timelines unrelated to the events of Drakengard. Before the events of the game, the local lands were in chaos due to conflicts between military dictators. In the midst of the carnage, five mysterious figures called the Chanters emerged and, thanks to their ability to use magic through song, defeated the dictators and ended the conflict.

The most beautiful game. The plot, although not immediately clear, is excellent. The only drawback is that it is clearly unfinished, because the game literally ends with the phrase “to be continued...” The soundtrack, as always in the NieR series, is divine, I listen to it separately from the game. The disadvantages are the monotonous gameplay and locations. Fortunately, they at least mix it up with boss fights, although some bosses still appear several times per game. The graphics are as average as possible for the year it was released, around the same time the much more beautiful Last of Us was released on the same curling iron, but I’m not complaining. Прекраснейшая игра. Сюжет, пусть и не сразу понятен, отличный. Единственный недостаток — он явно незавершён, ведь игра заканчивается буквально фразой "продолжение следует..." Саунтрек, как и всегда в серии NieR, божественен, слушаю его отдельно от игры. Из недостатков — однообразный геймплей и локации. Благо хоть разбавляют боссфайтами, хотя некоторые боссы всё же появляются по нескольку раз за игру. Графика — максимально средняя для года выхода, примерно в то же время вышла куда более красивая Last of Us на ту же плойку, но не жалуюсь. Проблем с производительностью на эмуляторе нет даже на далеко не самом сильном пк (i3 10100 + 1080), 60 фпс стабильно есть всегда, а вот на третьей мыльнице лагает.
