Evil Genius is a rather interesting simulator of an evil genius. Your goal is, of course, to take over the world. Your means are a bunch of minions, terrifying (and slightly stupid) inventions, and a command center in a rock on a small island. Actually, the main part of the gameplay is managing your base, its development and arrangement. To build, you need money and workers. We go to the command post and send our minions to rob - if everything is successful, we get money and all sorts of bonuses, otherwise we lose fighters. The gameplay is quite exciting, but at the same time, boring and drawn out. Most often, you will wait a long time for the mission to complete and new resources to appear.

Many people called Evil Genius a clone of Dungeon Keeper, and not without reason. The games are united by the general concept of creating your own lair and managing minions, which has managed to develop into a separate genre. If you've played and enjoyed Dungeon Keeper or the modern Dungeonsseries, then you'll like Evil Genius.

You probably immediately noticed a big difference between EG and the games I mentioned - the visual design. This is not the typical demonic lair with various fantastic creatures, but a stylish spy adventure with many references to Bond. In my opinion, this is the only reason to check out the game.

It is very easy to get confused in the game by the number of Minions, enemy factions, and rooms. But once you figure it out a little, the game can drag on.
